At Spirit Martial Arts we have a simple and clear pricing policy. There are three fees of which you should be aware and we make a number of guarantees that will provide confidence. We also offer a family discount so if you are considering multiple family members please ensure you read that section also.

Free Trial

The free trial is completely free and there is no obligation to join after, nor will you get any "hard sell". The free trial is two classes, however if you wish to try more than one activity you can have two classes of each. So two free classes of Taekwon-Do and two free classes of Kickboxing for example. To book a free trial just book the first class you wish to attend using the "Book a Free Trial" button on the top right of the screen.

Fees

• Enrolment Fee – Payable once, upon choosing to join after completing the free trial;

• Tuition Fee – Paid monthly for tuition and continued membership. Pay for the month ahead, cancel any time;

• Grading Fee – Paid when put forward for a grading (the exam to be taken to gain a promotion in grade and get a new belt).

 

Guarantees

• We charge a flat tuition rate. The quoted rate is standard will not increase at a certain belt or after a certain period of membership;

• We will not tie you in for a minimum period, no year long contracts etc. You pay at the beginning of the month for that month and can cancel at any time with no further payments due;

• Each year we will renew your NGB membership, which provides member insurance, grade recognition and other benefits, free of charge.

 

Enrolment Fee

The enrolment fee is £49 per person. This includes the uniform, licence book and initial registration with our NGB.

Tuition Fee

One class per week:

• Monday - £32.50 per month

• Tuesday – Saturday - £35 per month

Additional classes (same member) per week:

• Monday – additional £20 per month

• Tuesday – Saturday – Additional £22.50 per month

Monday is cheaper simply because we do not open on the Bank Holidays.

Grading Fee

Gradings are held every three months on a weekend, the fee includes a new belt if promoted.

Junior Dragon - £17.50

Junior (under 16) - £20

Senior (16+) - £25

Family Member Discounted Tuition Fees

A family member for discount purposes is a direct family member (parent, child, sibling), paying together.

One class per week

• Monday - £22.50 per month

• Tuesday – Saturday - £25 per month

Additional classes (same member) per week

• Monday – additional £20 per month

• Tuesday – Saturday – Additional £22.50 per month

Other Costs

A full price list is published and available on the premises. This includes:

• T-shirts, hoodies and other cool stuff;

• Personal Kit (sparring kit, extra uniforms etc.)

  • Note that all training kit such as target paddles, kick shield, kick/punch bags, focus mitts etc. is provided.

• Black Belt and advanced Dan grade examination fees;

• Special Events:

  • We hold seminars, competitions and host social events (annual party for example) which are obviously voluntary to attend. We also attend external competitions and seminars. Prices for these events are published in advance of each event.
